Hi everyone,
I hope you are all getting ready to give thanks for the blessings you have this year. I remember the days when we all used to get together for turkey and football! But of course, our families have all grown a lot bigger since then.
I want you all to know that I am thankful for each and every one of you. My family is the most important thing in my life, and I appreciate all of you very much. We’ve had a lot of good times over the years, and I look forward to more in the future.
Life is short, and the time we spend together is shorter… so I cherish our family get togethers very much. I understand how busy everyone is, but I wish we could get together more than once or twice a year.
Anyway, I hope you all have an awesome Thanksgiving! Jo and I are putting together our final plans for the Family holiday party on 12/28. I hope everyone is planning on attending. It should be a good time, and nothing is more important than family!

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to give a quick udpate that I’m trying to put together the food list and the what to bring list for each family. I hope to have it ready by early Dec. I’ll give each Aunt / Uncle a call when it’s ready.

Hey! Thanks for getting the party scheduled already! December is such a crazy month, with holidays and wrestling will be in full swing, so it is nice to be able to plan ahead! Hopefully Ted will be able to come this year too… :-) Also thanks for putting this site together. Hopefully we can all use it to its full potential and stay better connected! I would love to help out with the family tree link. The Sierer’s are all doing pretty well. Colin broke his arm on Friday trying to do the monkey bars while eating a graham cracker! Someday he’ll be a stunt double… I am sure of it! It is broken in two places and will be in a cast for his birthday. :-( Otherwise, we are great! Hope all is well with everyone!

Mark your calendars! The Family Holiday party is scheduled for 12/28/2008 at 5pm at the Garden Center next to SugarHouse Park (see map below). I hope this date works for everyone. Most days were already booked so we didn’t have a lot to choose from.
Food assignments and other info will be coming in the next couple of months. I also put it on the website Calendar.

Thanks for the post Rico! Hawaii is fabulous, I would recommend everyone try to make it to Kauai at least once in their lifetime- and GO ZIPLINING through a rain forest! Married life is good-great to see the family again, hopefully it won’t be another 10 years before I can make it to another family party.

This past weekend was Kristina’s wedding. She is now Kristina Saldana (I think thats right). It was a wonderful wedding and a fun reception. Joe seems like a pretty cool guy, and I hope they have fun in Hawaii!
The Rodriguez’s really know how to throw a wedding. The Mariachi band was very entertaining, and the bar was stocked well. I always have a blast partying with mi familia! The food was good too… man I ate so much.
Afterwards a few of us went to Walter and Suzie’s to continue the celebration of the marriage. We had a great time, and I wish we could all get together more often.
